To All Potential Clients
We have run a successful business for the past three years. Our reputation has been questioned of late by an individual named Richard Partington.
This is the chronological sequence of Mr Partington's dealings with CSI.
- He had numerous live trials and conversations with CSI representatives.
- His lawyer emails on his behalf asking numerous relevant questions about the program and its purchase.
- Mr Partington is told in no uncertain terms, as is every client, that CSI is a data/software supplier and that he will need funds to trade with.
- He has no funds so he borrows from his girlfriend to fund the $17600 (inc GST) for the software, the data feed in perpetuity and unlimited training.
- At his first training session he informs the trainer he has no money to trade with and will be cashing in his traded certificate offered to him by the software licensor.
- There is a dispute with him and the licensor about the certificate.
- Mr Partington then goes on an offensive rage and refuses training, deletes his software and wages an internet campaign about CSI. (Incidentally CSI has no involvement in issues with the trading certificate.)
- Mr Partington starts threatening members of CSI staff for the return of his funds- police are involved and he is charged.
- Mr Partington puts in applications for a CTTT hearing and after many months receives a judgment stating that he will not claim the cost of the program from the Company but that CSI must pay him the trading certificate funds. CSI dispute the ruling as the trading certificate is nothing to do with us. The funds regardless have since been reimbursed to Mr Partington.
- Mr Partington's internet nonsense causes trouble for other involved entities like the software licensor IAS HK Ltd etc. He is allowed to post his comments freely, without any verification, on a forum site based in the UK. A moderator of this site that allows his ranting is a Shane Greenup AKA Aegist who also lives in Sydney and runs various sites that steer people towards his $50 subscription sites with delayed data that is useless to any trader. Greenup receives commission for site traffic. It is our belief that Partington is acting for Greenup in his attempt to have us taken out of the industry so people will have nowhere to go but to his lucrative $50 inferior sites. All Mr Partington's claims about who owns MY company are outrageous- I own it... and no other person has an interest in it!
The fact remains that CSI has never backed away from a complaint and any issues are promptly resolved. To date we have only ever had one client complain in such an immature manner... and that is Mr Partington. We are not hard to find- we have offices that can be attended... we can be found at many business expos around the country. Most recently in The Perth Expo it was great to see Carbon A users come along and share their experiences with members of our hard working team.
If, in your due diligence, you feel the need to contact this individual we suggest you do so with caution. Gosford police have informed us that he is a known town menace and anyone with any common-sense will see that he is unstable to say the least. We urge you not to let one individual's inane crusade stop you from moving forward. We can provide many genuine clients for you to speak to that are using CarbonA right now and we are happy for you to test trial the data as much as you like before you make a decision.
